Voyage
Oil on canvas, 116 x 90 cm, 2010. Several times I reconsidered taking up again my career as a naval architect to get some money. I read up on the subject and eventually this background fused with the paintings. GZ-curves and steel structure drawings occurred in my work. Calculations of metacentric height and propeller efficiency became part of the paintings.
