Utøya Furet Værbitt
Oil on canvas, 155 x 125 cm, 2015. Through the darknes of the tragedy at Utøya shone the greatnes of humanity; young ones saving the lives of teenagers, teenagers saving the lives of kids. This image shows images from the history of Norway and the labour party and movement. The young members of AUF where gathered at Utøya to develop politics and democracy for the future. This spirit will continue and is what we will build our democracy on.
