The party

Oil on canvas, 100 x 80 cm, 2010. I tried for years to paint myself in as a saluting party member on the left half, but it just did not fit. Later I understood that in the light of my real life, this was correct. If I had continued on my original journey inside A4-life, it would have been similar to buying tickets on the sinking ships on the painting’s right side.
